How much would you say this jewelry set is worth?

Saw this at an antiques store. Price was $125, but there is a 50% discount on the jewelry...the guy said he thinks it's late 40's-50's because of the size and design. He said it's copper with silver plating. On one of the earrings the "pearl" (most of them don't appear to be real pearls) is showing signs of wear. I would like to know how much you think one should shell out for this. My friend was going to get it, but I told her to wait a bit, to see if perhaps she can negotiate.
