I don't have much experience in owening a business and would like to get in contact with a good Diamond Jewelry Dealer Supplier for my web store. How can I find them? I want to supply from the same kind of places that Jewelers supply from. But how? and were to look?
Thanks this would really help my business please help me out. I am even willing to pay who ever gives me a good supplier or info.

I have a diamond ring and a diamond necklace. They both are worth over $5,000. Where would be the best place to resell this jewelry? (obviously to get the best money back)

First, you need to verify for yourself, how do you know they are worth $5000 dollars? Did you pay $5,000 for it when you got it? Do you have some sort of certification that comes along with your diamond ring & Diamond Necklace?

If you do not have any certification with your jewelry, and in order to eventually getting them sold for the price you’re asking, you need to take a few small steps and gather this information:

Verify the quality of the diamonds that are set in your jewelry settings (Ring & Necklace). You need to know what is the COLOR of the diamonds, The CLARITY, CARAT’S (the weight, 1.00 carat, 2.00 carat’s etc) and the CUT (what are the proportion’s of these diamonds).

Secondly, you want to start doing some small research on e-Bay in order to educate yourself and see how much “the market” (regular people like you and me) are currently paying or wiling to pay for the same item you offer. Type your item keyword on eBay and see what other sellers are charging.

A good way to start with reselling your jewelry will be on classified ad sites like craigslist.org. There are many classifieds sites out there, just search for “classifieds” on Google and you’ll find many sites to POST your jewelry for free.

Many people have great success with classified ad sites but just in case you need other options, than I will recommend trying the major auction sites like: eBay or overstock auctions (you should be ready to pay a fee for this service).

Your last resort should be to sell it to a Jewelry/Jewelry store. Just expect to get less than if you persist and try to sell it your self online. By the way, there is nothing wrong with selling your diamond jewelry to a jeweler first but, you should understand that it is really a simple business proposition for an established jeweler. He offer you a little less than optimal, so he can buy from you with an wholesale tag price in order to make the profit back when he eventually (who knows when that will happen) sell it himself (He will not sell it overnight I can guarantee you that!).

Just in case you wondering what diamond clarity mean for once and for all, I decided to cover this topic for you so you’ll be covered from all angels when you get out there and sell your diamonds.

A simple way to visualize and understand what diamond clarity means once and for all is this: Think about a crystal clear glass cup with pure water in it. Now imagine your self taking an Oreo cookie, crashing it with your hand, while adding a few grains from it to your full cup of pure CLEAN (flawless) water. As soon as you look at the water through the glass, you’ll start noticing a few small “Inclusions” in the water (in this metaphor we lucky to have small pieces of deliciously tasty Oreo cookies). The more inclusions you add to the cup, the more visible are the inclusions for you to see. Remember, more inclusions = less net worth. So…the highest & most desirable clarity in a diamond is FLAWLESS, parallel to looking inside a pure clean glass of water. In case you wondering, the same cup of water with a box of Oero’s in side of it, would be easily considered as the lowest clarity acceptable in the diamond industry and that is I-3 (by the way, you can get a 1.00 carat diamond with I3 clarity for under a $1,000 dollars these days).

Now a days everything has become fashion. Not necessary that your birthstone should be diamond & you should wear it. Moreover, diamond is not that cheap so that everybody can wear.

Many traditional Jewelry pieces from India utilize diamond in 24kt gold, but you have to remember 24kt Pure Gold is Very Maleable (soft) and can bend easily causing stones to possibly fall out.

Every single day there are cars with huge bows and women being surprised with diamond jewelry plastered all over the TV. So I was curious how common it actually is to receive one of these high priced items for Christmas. It is extremely unlikely that this would ever happen to me, so it would be nice to know that it does happen to others.

when i turned 16 which was quite a long time ago i received a 1969 camaro all done up to the hills... my parents got it for me for a summer car and they knew that i would love it... last year i was in a car accident and i lost my truck... i was not able to afford to buy another one and xmas morning i walked into the garage and there was a nice brand new suv in there... was so surprised and never expected it to say the least... last year xmas as well my now fiance gave me a diamond engagement ring and yes it is a real diamond..

some ppl have never had this happen to them i know.. but you never know what will happen in life... i never expected my parents and my fiance to go out and do this kind of thing.. but yes this does happen in life...
