My husband and I will be traveling to China soon. What do you recommend that we buy? I was thinking Jade jewelry and some tea. Others have told me that I should get a fake purse. What do you think I should buy?

Pearls pearls pearls real pearls are very cheap there.There are these beautiful hand painted scrolls usually the painting on them is of some type of chinese flowers, trees, fish, or landscape and there is usually chinese writing at the bottom. You can get any size and even the huge ones are pretty cheap. They also have the same type of thing but its hand embroidering instead of painting and its very beautiful. Get a set of fake purses, forget the fake watches they are cheaply made and fall apart quickly. Leather products there are also cheap compaired to the states, they have really nice hand bags even the ones that are not a fake of a brand. They have nice and cheap clothes there. They have nice shoes that are very cheap. Household stuff like dishes, they have georgous tea sets, candle holders, bedding. Avoid electronics their electronics tend to be low quality. And don't worry about customs you don't have to declare anything unless you payed more than $1000 for it. But remember that you have a weight limit for your baggage at the airport. If you think that your baggage might be overweight just mail some of the stuff home before you leave. Paying for overweight luggage is very expensive. Don't send anything that is fake in the mail it might get taken away. Have agreat trip.
